Silkmen to check on injured duo

Both players sustained calf strains during Saturday's goalless draw at Port Vale and were substituted.They were replaced by Craig Linfield and Ben Wright respectively, and Alexander could hand the pair starting roles should Daniel and Sappleton fail fitness tests.The Silkmen will again be without midfield duo Ross Draper and Hamza Bencherif for the League Two encounter at Moss Rose.Draper is nursing a hernia problem and Bencherif suffered a fractured ankle in the 3-0 defeat at Rochdale on December 5.Alexander is expecting a tough test against the Shrimps, saying: "They're a strong team who put a lot of balls into the box and we're going to have to be ready for them."
