Johnson backing Chelsea for title

Johnson has always been a big follower of the Blues and his hero is Chelsea and England skipper John Terry. The former Cardiff player will try and pull out all the stops to help Birmingham extended their 15 game unbeaten run against Carlo Ancelotti's side on Wednesday. But Johnson believes Chelsea are red hot favourites to take the title.Johnson said: "It was great to play Chelsea at our place on Boxing Day but as a fan, it will mean a lot to play them at Stamford Bridge."I still get to watch as many games as I can, mainly mid-week when Birmingham are not playing, and John Terry is a player I look up to."I'd be silly not to. He's a great player and I try and take bits from his game and stick them into mine."He was good enough to be at Chelsea from a boy and start out there and play his entire career with them in the Premier League."I've come through the lower leagues and tried to get there as quick as possible. I've got the chance now at 26 and hopefully will be in the Premier League for a good few years yet."Manchester United regained top spot in the Premier League via their win over Hull at the weekend. But Johnson insisted: "I think Chelsea will win the league as they've been better than most sides this season."Manchester United haven't been quite as good as in previous seasons. Arsenal have come up on the rails in recent weeks but Chelsea have that strength to grind results out."They've done that for most of the season and, if they have a good second half, they should easily win the title." Chelsea 1/4, Draw 5/1, Birmingham 10/1
