Saints call off Aberdeen encounter

The Perth club had fixed their undersoil heating following problems earlier in the week but the pitch was deemed unplayable following a morning inspection by referee Charlie Richmond.St Johnstone said on their official website: "As hoped, the remaining ice melted overnight with the assistance of the undersoil heating but the resultant water combined with the very heavy overnight rain has made the playing surface unplayable."No date has yet been set for the rearranged fixture, with St Johnstone due to play Forfar at Station Park in the Active Nation Scottish Cup fourth round on Monday.
