The Dons boss Mark McGhee confirmed his interest in the striker on Sunday stating that he was a "fan" and that he had "asked about his availability".The Scottish Premier League side believe they have a chance of signing Dobbie, who has not featured for the Championship side since October following a rib injury, during the January transfer window. However, Dobbie remains focused on winning a regular first-team place in Paulo Sousa's side. He told the Swansea Evening Post: "It's always good to hear another manager speaking highly of you."But I haven't heard anything from the gaffer or anyone at the club about interest from Aberdeen. I don't know if the gaffer is thinking about a move for me and I'm just trying to work hard."I'm keeping my head down and looking to get my place back in the Swansea team."
