Bolton's Johan Elmander set for Marseille as new manager Owen Coyle looks to shuffle pack

Marseille are preparing a bid for out-of-favour Bolton striker Johan Elmander, as new manager Owen Coyle looks to raise funds for a January spending spree.Bolton broke the bank to sign the Sweden international in the summer of 2008, paying Toulouse close to £10million for his services.But Elmander has struggled to adapt the pace of English football and has scored just eight goals in 42 appearances for the Trotters.
