Everton boss Moyes keeping tabs on Portsmouth's loan striker Piquionne

David Moyes is considering a move for Portsmouth's on-loan striker Frederic Piquionne after confirming he wants Jo out of Goodison Park. Piquionne is one of several Portsmouth players with their futures in doubt and his representatives have contacted Everton to see if they are keen. Most wanted: Frederic Piquionne Everton are open to a loan deal if his current agreement between Lyon and Portsmouth collapses, while Blackburn, Liverpool and Aston Villa are also interested. Moyes, meanwhile, is exploring ways of curtailing Jo's season-long loan from Manchester City. The Brazilian striker has been suspended by Everton after going AWOL over Christmas.
