Simpson pleased with Shrews win

The Shrews, now fourth in League Two, were forced to play the last 30 minutes with 10 men following Dean Holden's dismissal for a foul on Kieran Djilali, but were able to hold on for a 1-0 win following Dave Hibbert's 38th-minute strike."I think the big thing was the way that we defended," said Simpson. "I think the two centre-halves were excellent, that's probably as well as they've defended all season. Sometimes they did it without having to tackle or touch the ball."They got their bodies in the right place and ushered it back to the goalkeeper. It's a fantastic result, it was a real gritty, determined performance from the players and they have earned the result."Simpson also revealed that on-loan Tottenham goalkeeper David Button has extended his stay at the club by a further month. He added: "We will keep looking at it month to month, but I'm very pleased that we've got him for the next few weeks and we'll see how we go from there."
