Rovers fight the big freeze

The freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall throughout the country has put a number of games in doubt, but Rovers are taking measures to try and safeguard against the weather.Chief executive Dave Morris said: "To ensure the game goes ahead we have invested in extra covers to make sure that the frost and snow does not get to the pitch."This should guarantee that the pitch is playable for Monday and along with the excellent ground staff and SMC the car parks and terracing should be fine."The club sees no reason why the game should not go ahead as scheduled."
