Andrey Arshavin has mocked his fellow Londoners for failing to cope with a spot of snow.Christmas spirit: Arshavin and his wife Yulia (foreground) take their children on at ride at the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, LondonThe Arsenal star, more used to spending Christmas in snow-covered St Petersburg, is amused by the chaos caused by a few wintry showers.'London is all in snow,' he joked. 'It creates a good pre-Christmas mood. But for the locals it seems that so much snow causes a great shock.'When it falls, life immediately freezes. Generally, when the temperature hits zero, it's like an international disaster in London.'The 28-year-old appears to be enjoying life in the capital after initially admitting it was hard to settle in following his February move from Zenit St Petersburg. But there remains one gripe.'It's not so simple to become fully accustomed to London,' he said. 'My difficulties are mainly related to parking and the large number of cars on the roads.'But the adoration of Arsenal fans makes up for any shortcomings, with Arshavin joking: 'I am happy here. I sometimes think they like me more than my wife.'Arshavin will reflect on a successful first year in the Barclays Premier League when he spends Christmas with wife Yulia and their two young children. Good year: Andrey Arshavin celebrates on his way to scoring four goals at Liverpool last season, but he says English football is tougher than he expectedBut he admits that adapting to English football has been tougher than expected.'I expected before I moved to England, if you are a good player if you play for a big team it is easier. But even if you play against Burnley or Wolverhampton, it is not easy - you don't have time to turn or do any dribbling, if you get two touches you're lucky.'Recent slip-ups by Chelsea and Manchester United have let Arsenal back into the title race, but the Russia forward warns that his side can't afford many more slip-ups.'We have had some chances to be very close to the top but we have not taken them so I am a little disappointed,' he said.'But now if we win games in hand we are still in the race but at the same time we cannot lose more points.' TRANSFER WINDOW GUIDE: The lowdown on every club as Manchester United throw the January window open with £9m bid for star Benfica winger Angel Di Maria Arsenal eye short-term loan move for AC Milan's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar PICTURE SPECIAL: Andrey Arshavin gets into the Christmas spirit as Arsenal star takes family to Winter WonderlandWhat a spectacle!
