Hearts target Charlton striker McLeod in January loan move

Hearts are hoping to bring Charlton Athletic striker Izale McLeod in on loan in January. Tynecastle manager Csaba Laszlo has revealed his interest in signing the former England Under-21 international. McLeod has started just three League One games for the Addicks this season. "He is a striker who can score goals and scoring is a problem that we have been having all season," explained Laszlo. "At the moment, I think everybody knows that I am very interested in a player who will next week be here and I hope we can have an agreement between the clubs to take him on loan. "I've seen the player a few times and now is the possibility to meet him personally and get him in training and he accepted this. "This guy has international experience. He played for England Under-21s. He is a scorer - and he has a Scottish name!"
