Kiddie boss confirms Robins talks

Yates was approached by the Robins last week after Martin Allen left the club by mutual consent. And he told the Kidderminster Shuttle: "I have spoken to Cheltenham but it wasn't an extensive chat. I think the club have a few people to talk to so we'll see how things develop."Kidderminster have made a request for compensation for Yates and assistant Neil Howarth should Cheltenham decide to move for the duo.Harriers chairman Barry Norgrove said: "Obviously we've got a higher valuation and they've got a lower one and we'd have to meet somewhere in the middle."Ideally, we wouldn't want Mark or Neil to leave. They know the players and have done a good job with them this season."
