Evans: Win can bring festive cheer

The Bantams travel to Gigg Lane with one of the best away records in League Two, having only lost twice on their travels this term.Yet their form at Valley Parade has been less impressive and Evans is eager for that to change in the two home games that follow the trip to Bury.He told the Telegraph and Argus: "We've given ourselves a chance with every game we've had away from home, apart from Notts County on the first day of the season (where they were beaten 5-0), so we'll be looking to go to Bury and get the three points."I can't put my finger on why we've been better away from home. I genuinely believe we've got a really good squad and every player gives their all every game at the moment. For some reason it seems to be paying off away from home."We really are looking to improve our home form and make Valley Parade a tough place to come and play."
