Problems mount for Pools chief
Defender Ben Clark is banned after he was sent off in the second half of Pools' 3-2 defeat at Southend last weekend while forward Colin Larkin and full-back Neil Austin are ruled out with niggling hamstring injuries.David Foley (leg) and youngster Dylan Purvis (calf) sustained injuries during the reserves' 4-3 win against Sunderland in midweek.Goalkeeper Scott Flinders struggled with shoulder and leg problems going into the Shrimpers clash but played through the pain and has been training this week.James Brown (knee), Steve Haslam (hernia) and Denis Behan (ankle) remain long-term absentees.
