McFadden: Smells like team spirit

The Blues are currently seventh in the top-flight table after taking maximum points from their last five games.Alex McLeish's side have defied the doom-mongers who predicted they would struggle this season after being promoted from the Championship, and, according to McFadden, it is all down to a new-found spirit within the squad."I've said all along I didn't think we played particularly well last season," McFadden told the club's official website. "It was about getting out of the league and we got there in the end."But this season we've added some good quality players and we're on a good run and I think we deserve it because we've worked hard and played some good football at times and it's nice to be a part of it."We've got a settled side now, a great team spirit and a never-say-die attitude."
