Taylor closer to making Latics return

Taylor has not featured for the Latics since the 2-2 draw at home to Colchester.However, his rehabilitation has been progressing well and he could come into contention for the Boxing Day home clash with Tranmere.Taylor said: "I'm getting closer now but it's not going to be this Saturday, that's for certain."But I am hopeful I might be there or thereabouts for the week after."
