Rovers step in to help local school

Most of Doncaster School Campsmount Technology College in Norton was destroyed by a mysterious fire on Sunday when 16 fire engines and 80 firefighters failed to save the buildings and their contents.But Rovers provided Campsmount Under-11s with a replica kit to enable their game against Penistone Grammer School to go ahead, with skipper Brian Stock and midfielder Martin Woods making the presentation.Rovers community manager Eric Randerson said: "We're delighted to be able to help the school at this sad time."It's important that the school name carries on and this football match will help do that. The club are very keen to assist the school in any way that we can and hopefully in the new year we can sit down together and arrange other projects."
