Nicolas Anelka aiming to put one over former Chelsea manager Avram Grant

Hot shot: AnelkaNicolas Anelka is glad Avram Grant will be sitting in the away dug-out at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.Portsmouth boss Grant returns to Chelsea for the first time since he was sacked at the end of the 2007-08 season after losing out to Manchester United in the Champions League final.Grant's side will need to stop Anelka to have any chance of success in the capital as the 30-year-old Frenchman has been in fine form partnering Didier Drogba in the Blues attack. But Anelka insists it would have been a different story if Grant had stayed in charge and only now, under Carlo Ancelotti, is he back to his best.He said: 'I feel like I'm getting used to playing for Chelsea. Soon it will be two years that I have been here and it's gone so quickly.'I have more confidence in my game, the way I play on the pitch and my position. That's why maybe I've looked a bit calmer on the pitch.  'In the beginning I knew it was new for me and it took maybe more time to play the way I wanted to. But now, because of my position and the manager knows how to use me, I'm playing better.'I think he knows how to get the best out of me. The position I have now, I've always wanted to play in.' Didier Drogba is the world's best striker, says Portsmouth's ex-Chelsea boss Avram GrantAvram Grant: Abramovich blamed me for Terry's Champions League howlerTHE LIST: Top 50 players of the decade in the Premier League - Nos 30-21Jose Mourinho admits: I insulted a journalist but did not hit himDidier Drogba injury rocks Chelsea after star striker is crocked in trainingVIDEO: Carlo Ancelotti insists Chelsea must wipe out their defensive errors CHELSEA FC
