Novak keen to make Blues switch

The MFK Kosice forward spent last week on trial at the Blues and spoke on of his enjoyment while training with the Premier League outfit.Novak is currently on holiday as Kosice are in a winter break from domestic duties, but the 23-year-old is expected to be back in the West Midlands when the transfer window opens as McLeish is keen to bolster his attacking options. The Scot looks certain to invest in a new striker with City short up top and the Slovakian international is convinced he will be plying his trade at St Andrew's next year after a productive conversation with the Blues tactician."Birmingham City are a top club of high quality," said Novak, who has scored eight goals in this season's Slovakian league."After one of the model matches I had an interview with manager Alex McLeish. The coach asked me how I liked England, if I was glad to be at Birmingham and complimented me in the end."Novak claims to have no knowledge of how talks are going between Birmingham and Kosice with the two clubs trying to thrash out a deal for the £2.7million-rated frontman. He added: "I know nothing of that. It is a matter of the both clubs' representatives and my agent. "Anyway, I would not at all be against a move to Birmingham. It is a dream for every footballer to play in the English Premier League. I would be extremely happy if it became a reality." Birmingham v Blackburn Match Specials: Birmingham to score 2+ 1st Hf 11/2
