Cherries warmed up for their eagerly-awaited FA Youth Cup tie at Bolton with an emphatic 3-0 league victory over Exeter City at Chapel Gate on Saturday. Danny Ings, Matt Kemble and Tom Hill were on target during an impressive display from Joe Roach's charges ahead of their trip to the Reebok on Friday. We were excellent, said Roach. Everybody was up for the cup game and looking to be in contention for a start against Bolton. But allied to that, everyone has been working really hard on their fitness recently and I thought they transferred that into the game. Exeter couldn't deal with anything in terms of our defending and we were very positive when we had the ball. We also worked on a few things which hopefully we will use in the Bolton game and were rewarded with three good goals. Cherries' cause was helped when the Grecians were reduced to 10 men midway through the first half. Cherries: Murphy, Vokes, Magookin (Strugnell, 52), Oldring, Holmes, Parsons (Burbidge, 65), Hill, Hester, Bell (Green, 70), Ings, Kemble.
