Clough wary of Porter's fitness

The striker, Clough's first signing when he took charge at Pride Park at the start of the year, recently made his comeback from a persistent hip problem that had kept him out since early March.Porter followed up his substitute appearance in the goalless draw at Preston with a goal from the bench against Watford to give Derby their first away win of the season.Clough said: "We still have to be careful with him. We want him to settle down now and play the next six months injury free if he can - and the next few years."He has not had injuries in his career before, so it is a little bit of a blip for him. But he is looking sharper and sharper with each training session and he is well on the road to recovery now."We will see how he goes in training this week but the confidence he will get from the goal against Watford will do him the world of good and I think he will be in contention for the home game against Doncaster on Saturday."
