Milijas confident of World Cup spot

The Serbian was instrumental for Mick McCarthy's men in the 2-1 win over Bolton last week. However, the former Red Star Belgrade playmaker has made just two Premier League starts for Wanderers and has only twice completed a full 90 minutes for the Midlands outfit. But the 26-year-old, named Serbian Superliga Player of the Year before his switch to the Molineux, is not concerned by his lack of first team football."I don't have that problem," he told the Birmingham Mail."I just need to train well and be fit and healthy, that's the most important thing for me."I just want to give 100 per cent in every training session and match I play."I've played well for my national team and I think I'll stay in the first eleven."I haven't spoken to Raddy Antic (Serbia coach) about it. He has many good players, but I just want to be in that national team."Milijas played a major part in his country's impressive World Cup qualifying campaign which saw Serbia finish top having won seven of their ten matches and topping group favourites France. After sealing their place in South Africa, following a 5-0 win over Romania, Serbia have been drawn in group D for the 2010 competition alongside Germany, Australia and Ghana."We have a few months before the World Cup and we'll be training for a month before the competition, so we'll see," he added."The most important thing is the first game of the World Cup, then we have to qualify from the group before we can think about the next round."
