Cumbrians star eyes play-offs

Consecutive league victories over MK Dons and Hartlepool and a hard-fought point in Saturday's goalless draw at Gillingham has lifted the Cumbrians into the top half of the table. But Hurst insists they will not underestimate Gary Waddock's Wycombe, who arrive at Brunton Park on Saturday after achieving three wins in their last four games. He told the News & Star: "If we can stay injury-free and keep hold of all the players we've got, we can definitely be fighting for the play-offs."In the last 12 games, we've won seven games and only lost a couple and if we can keep that sort of form going we can be up there in the play-offs. You look at the table now with a few wins like we have picked up and, if we can carry it on, we will be in there, definitely."He added: "They (Wycombe) have nothing to lose so we have to keep our organisation and not think we can just turn up and win this game."
