Gers chief hails travelling fans

Wednesday night's 1-0 defeat in Spain was the club's first European away match since they were fined £18,000 for the disturbances which marred November's 1-1 draw at Unirea Urziceni.Bain told his club's official website: "The club and supporters groups worked well together prior to this match to try to ensure Seville was an enjoyable experience for everyone travelling."While the result was disappointing for the team, the supporters' groups did everything they could and in general the atmosphere in Seville was relaxed."It was important for the fans to finish the Champions League campaign without any problems and the supporters responded well."I would like to pay particular tribute to those fans representatives who met with the club and made a big effort to spread the word among all supporters."
