Tilson: Shrimpers deserved more

Deon Burton's 25th-minute strike sealed the points for a below-par Addicks and Tilson had nothing but praise for his men after the game."I thought we were the better team," he said. "We had the lion's share of possession and at the very least we deserved to come away with a point."Unfortunately, we didn't put our chances away and that has cost us. You would have put your mortgage on Barney [Lee Barnard] scoring in the first half, but I can't go screaming and shouting at the players, because they were excellent."It just didn't go our way in front of goal and even at the death the ball didn't fall for us when it looked like we might score."We've now got to bounce back at home to Hartlepool next Saturday and try to get three points."
