Darlington axe keeper among five changes

Darlington manager Steve Staunton has reacted to Tuesday's 4-0 thumping at Notts County by dropping keeper Ashlee Jones as one of five changes for today's home game with Bradford City. Jones made his debut on Tuesday but after a nightmare start to his Quaker, in which he was at fault for two goals, he has been replaced by Nick Liversedge. Also drafted into Staunton's side are striker Lee Thorpe and ex-Bradford defender Mark Bower, both returning after being injured. Josh Gray starts at left-wing while Andrew Milne becomes the 40th different player to represent Quakers this season. The defender has joined on loan from Leeds and comes into a side does not feature Ian Miller who is sidelined with a hamstring strain. At Notts County Miller took the captaincy from the dropped Steve Foster, who is on the bench today, so today is captain against his hometown team. As well as Miller and Jones, also dropping out of the starting XI are Simon Thomas, James Collins and Danny Groves. In the Bradford side former Quakers defender Matt Clarke and midfielder Michael Flynn who had a short loan spell with Darlington last season.
