London rivals settle Turner dispute

The defender began his career with the Addicks before moving on to the Bees in 2004 and then, two years later, Hull, who he left to join Sunderland in August.Charlton and Brentford had been in disagreement about the percentage of the sell-on clause each were due to receive but have now come to an agreement.A statement from Charlton read: "While the terms of the settlement are confidential, the club can confirm that they relate to a separate sum of money currently held by the Football League and do not affect the sums already received by both clubs from Hull."A Football League disciplinary committee hearing due to be held on Friday was cancelled.Meanwhile, both clubs have also complained to the Premier League after Hull revealed the transfer fee to be only £4million - far less than anticipated - and an investigation is ongoing.
