Davies joins non-league outfit

Davies, who came through the ranks at the Banks's Stadium, will link up with the side in time for their game at Southport. And the 19-year-old is hoping the chance to play competitive football will help him progress into the Saddlers' first-team."Hopefully this will allow me to get some first-team football under my belt," he said. "I've had a couple of niggling injuries this season but I'm over them now and just want to kick on."I've been playing for the reserves but in the winter months there aren't that many games. Solihull play at a decent level and they've got quite a few games in December, so it will be a good experience."I spoke to the manager and Martin (O'Connor) and they both said that a spell on loan would be good for me. It's a step up from the reserves and gives me a chance to play competitive football."
