Silkmen boss backs Rochdale bid

Keith Hill has fashioned a talented young side on a shoestring budget and his Dale side currently top League Two.Alexander is wary of their threat ahead of Saturday's showdown at Spotland and accepts his men face a real test.The Silkmen boss said: "I've known Keith Hill for some time and have a lot of respect for him and what he has achieved at the club since taking over three years ago."Like ourselves they aren't awash with money and have been forced to sell the likes of Glenn Murray and Adam Le Fondre in recent years."But they seem to be making progress year on year and I fully expect them to be there and thereabouts when the promotion places are decided next May."
