Trollope tribute to former chairman

Rovers' players wore black armbands during Tuesday evening's win over Exeter as a mark of respect for Craig.A minute's silence will also be held at the home match against Swindon on December 12.Craig first joined the board in 1986 and was vice-chairman for many years before taking the helm in April 2007 - overseeing the club's promotion to League One and an FA Cup run to the quarter-finals. He later stood down as chairman in August 2008 but remained at the Memorial Stadium as a director.Trollope told the club's official website: "Ron had been a massive part of our football club for many years and there are players and staff in our dressing room who were very close to him."Our thoughts were of him and with Ann and the news coming so close to the game made it difficult for everyone. It wasn't a great win but it was a win and we certainly dedicate it to Ron. He will be very sorely missed."
