Blades ready for a run - Blackwell

The Blades, without a long list of crocked players throughout the autumn, slid down the table on the back of an eight-game run without a win, but the club's injury troubles are beginning to clear and two straight victories has left them four points off the top six.Blackwell said: "If we get the last of our remaining injured ones back and have a decent run of the ball in terms of injury and decisions, I'm absolutely sure that we can go on a run. The season isn't even halfway through yet so there's plenty for us to be positive about."The lads here have hearts as big as buckets and have all given everything during my time as manager of Sheffield United."It's been very hard for all of us over the last few weeks - supporters, players and staff alike - because our pride has been hurt at seeing the team struggling after sustained success."Meanwhile, Blackwell has confirmed the club will open talks with Stoke striker Richard Cresswell with a view to turning his current loan deal into a permanent move.
