Hughes is Gunner play hitman Ade

Adebayor could make his second-ever showing against the Gunners in Wednesday's Carling Cup quarter-final.The Togo international caused a stir earlier this season after reacting to provocation by Gunners fans at the City of Manchester Stadium. After coming under fire from his former fans he responded by racing the length of the field to celebrate his goal in front of the away end.Adebayor received a £25,000 fine and a two-match ban suspended for a year for his provocative goal celebrations.Despite the history between the striker and his former club, Hughes insists Adebayor will remain available due to his goal-scoring threat."There is no way he will not play as a consequence of what happened last time," explained Hughes. "We want him to play because of the huge influence he had. He scored a fantastic goal."What happened last time was well documented, but that is in the past now."He's found it a bit more difficult, but that is maybe more of consequence of opponents having a look at how we play and trying to stop our threat - which Ade is." Man. City 10/11, Draw 5/2, Arsenal 3/1
