Not let up from Forest, barks Billy

An own goal from Gareth Roberts and further efforts from Wes Morgan, Robert Earnshaw and substitute Lewis McGugan put Forest in control before Billy Sharp's late consolation in the 4-1 victory over Doncaster.Davies said: "It's good in any league but in this league it's very difficult to achieve. But when you're on a good run you forget about it and look to the next match."I can promise you, we're back in on Monday morning, we've got a double session on Tuesday, we're back in Thursday and Friday and not 1% of any of these players can take their foot off the gas."Davies also felt the second half had proved to be the difference at the City Ground. He added: "I thought as a team in the second half we really showed our true fitness levels because our attitude to press and pick them off and get at them was very very good."I am really pleased with the group at the moment and next week we should have back [Nathan] Tyson, [Guy] Moussi and Chris Cohen."Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll felt hard done by in terms of the game's opening goal.O'Driscoll thought there had been a push in the build up and Rovers' assistant boss Richard O'Kelly was sent to the stands for his protests.O'Driscoll said: "I asked the fourth official and I said I thought it was a push in the back. He said it was shoulder to shoulder so I said, 'ok'."The actions of the referee to Richard walking out of the technical area I thought was like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, absolutely ridiculous."We can accept he stepped out of the technical area, but I felt it could have been managed more sensibly."On the performance, O'Driscoll added: "We felt we were the better side in the first half and our possession was good. We could have done better in the final third but to be fair to them [Forest] anytime we got any sort of possession they got everyone behind the ball and that made it difficult for us."We were confident at half-time and just wanted to do things a bit differently but I thought we were naive in the second half."Meanwhile, Doncaster confirmed that goalkeeper Neil Sullivan, who was substituted with the score at 3-0, was simply taken off to be rested, though the player himself admitted he had a dead leg.
