Alex defender set to face Brewers

Brayford missed the weekend's 2-2 draw at Northampton but is set to return to face the club he began his career with.The 21-year-old will return to the starting XI in place of Matthew Tootle, who made is Crewe debut at the weekend.Caretaker manager Dario Gradi will be without midfielders Steven Schumacher and James Bailey. Schumacher is struggling with cramp in his calf, while Bailey has a groin problem.However, both are expected to be fit in time for the trip to Chesterfield on December 2.The only other injury of note is to striker Shaun Miller, who is still sidelined with a groin injury.
