Elm: No interest in Rovers move

Elm signed a four-year contract with AZ in August to join from Kalmar, but the Swedish youngster has struggled to make an impact with the Dutch champions. He is ineligible to play in the Champions League having already appeared in the competition for Kalmar and that has hampered his prospects of cementing his place in the team. The 21-year-old's situation has led to speculation that he could move to the Premier League in the New Year, having previously been linked to Everton, Fulham and Manchester City.Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has been tipped to make an offer when the transfer window reopens, but Elm has rubbished the rumours surrounding his future."I am definitely not," Elm told Fotbollskanalen when asked if he would be signing for Blackburn in January."That's totally made up. I like it a lot in Alkmaar."Elm also revealed that he understands why AZ coach Ronald Koeman is reluctant to bring him back into the team on the back of a win.He added: "It's a bit odd playing a game, and things go well, and then not being able to play in the Champions League."And when things go well there, I can understand that the manager doesn't want to change it." Bolton 11/10, Draw 9/4, Blackburn 13/5
