Ward closes in on Wolves return

Ward is seven days ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation, but he is refusing to set himself any targets after over two months out of action."Hopefully I'll be ready to join in full training at some point next week," he said."I've still got a bit more fitness work before joining in with the rest of the lads but I'm there or thereabouts."It's good to be fit again - it feels like I've turned the corner."Wolves travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Premier League leaders Chelsea next weekend but Ward is wary of hurrying back too soon."I'm not setting any targets," he said. "I can't look too far ahead. I've stepped up my rehab and the signs have looked good."If I continue to progress, I should get some sort of training in during the week."There's no point rushing back and if you have to take extra time, you make sure you're right."I've worked hard on my rehab and all I'm hoping for is to train again next week."
