Cudicini to undergo wrist and pelvic surgery after horror motorbike smash

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is set to undergo wrist and pelvic surgery today, the club have confirmed.The former Chelsea No 1 is fighting to save his career after a motorbike smash left him with broken wrists and a damaged pelvis.Cudicini suffered the injuries, which the London Ambulance Servicedescribed as 'possibly life-changing', after crashing his BMW superbikeinto a Ford Fiesta on Forest Road, Walthamstow, East London at 10.30amyesterday. Head of medical Services at the Hospital, Wayne Diesel, said: 'We have leading specialists looking after Carlo and once surgery is complete and his recovery is underway, we will have a clearer idea of how many weeks he will be out for.'Spurs boss Harry Redknapp said: 'We are all sorry to hear about what has happened to Carlo.
