Dons quartet offered new deals

Winger Pawlett only signed a new three-year deal in February, however, the Pittodrie outfit have been thrilled with his progress and are keen to reward him.Fyvie, 16, is one of the country's hottest properties and has impressed in the SPL this season with a number of fine displays despite his tender years.Paton has started seven league matches this term while Maguire has predominantly featured off the bench, scoring once in league action.McGhee has confirmed the quartet have all been offered new terms and hopes the players remain with the Dons for the foreseeable future."Offers have been made to Peter Pawlett, Fraser Fyvie, Michael Paton and Chris Maguire," McGhee told the Daily Express."They have all done well this season and I feel they should be on better deals."Willie Miller (director of football) is talking to the boys and there agents just now and I am confident we can get all the deals tied up over the next couple of weeks."I believe all four of these guys can do really well for the club."If they continue to develop then they can help take Aberdeen forward and we can all get the rewards."We aren't looking to get the boys tied up and then to sell them for the first decent offer that comes along."Hopefully we can keep them at Pittodrie for the next three or four years."
