Town striker not affected by hype

The 18-year-old is a product of Cheltenham's centre of excellence having previously been on the books at both Chelsea and Reading as a schoolboy. His recent breakthrough into the first team at Whaddon Road has reportedly attracted the interest of both Birmingham and Aston Villa.Asked whether his burgeoning reputation brings its own pressure, Lewis said: "I think it gives me confidence, knowing that and hearing what other people say about you."It makes me want to perform better and I go out there with confidence instead of having pressure on my shoulders. But I don't like getting carried away with it. I try to keep my head down, work hard in training and do my stuff in the matches."I try not to let it get to me too much because then you won't succeed. I obviously like to hear it but I just get on with my job. Everyone at Cheltenham Town, all of the management staff have helped me progress as a better player and I hope it keeps on going."
