City boss: Practice makes perfect

After the Valley Parade encounter had ended 2-2 after 90 minutes, Bradford goalkeeper Simon Eastwood provided the heroics as he saved three Vale penalties, leaving Steve Williams to score the decisive spot-kick and seal a 5-4 shoot-out victory.A delighted McCall said: "We practised penalties the day before and it has paid off for us. It was a great night for the club and three of our penalties were scored by defenders - Steve Williams, Zesh Rehman and Luke O'Brien."At least we are in the Trophy and all I can say is give us a home tie in the next round. It is exciting and it gives everyone a lift for our home league match against Bournemouth on Saturday."We were second best before half-time and there was not that zip about us that there normally is."Things were said at the interval and we came out and upped our game. We have an honest group of players and they came out and produced a really good display in the second half."
