McEveley set for reserve outing
The 24-year-old will wear a protective mask when the Rams' second string face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Wednesday afternoon.McEveley sustained the injury in the league defeat at Middlesbrough on October 20.He then suffered a major scare on the operating table when his heart stopped for two minutes during the procedure to correct the facial disfigurement.The left-back, with his mask at the ready, was an unused substitute during the Championship victory over Coventry at the weekend.He will not fly out with the rest of the squad on Thursday for the friendly against Dutch side Den Haag because his fiance is due to give birth shortly.
