Capaldi says he could move on

Capaldi has been somewhat of a peripheral figure for the Bluebirds over the last two seasons due to injury and competition for places. The left-sided 28-year-old came back into the starting XI for Saturday's 3-2 derby defeat to Swansea, his fifth league start of the season, but he has spoken to manager Dave Jones about his feelings ahead of the forthcoming transfer window."I was happy to get the call to start against Swansea," he told the South Wales Echo. "I've missed a lot of football over the past year but I need to be playing regularly to get the best out of myself. I'm that kind of player."To be honest I need regular football now. I can't just keep coming in every four or five weeks."I've spoken to the gaffer and we'll see what happens from here. If I'm not needed and I have to move on then fair enough. We'll see what happens in January. I would love to stay at Cardiff and play but I might now just have to move on."
