No Johnson for Johnstone's

Northampton manager Ian Sampson will be without on-loan Middlesbrough defender John Johnson for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at neighbours MK Dons. The right-back picked up an ankle injury in the 2-1 FA Cup win over Fleetwood Town on Saturday and will miss out, while Sampson intends to make several changes to his side.Striker Adebayo Akinfenwa will be rested after playing the full 90 minutes against the non-league side while teenage midfielder Michael Jacobs will be in the squad.Courtney Herbert and Abdul Osman (both back) remain sidelined but there should be opportunities for Alex Dyer, Gary Mulligan, Billy McKay and Patrick Kanyuka.Sampson said: "There are one or two players who we need to get up to speed and this is an ideal game for them."But I will be looking to win the game as always. It will be nice to be underdogs for a change and we will have to get in their faces but we have every chance of going through."
