Alexander unfazed at history-making

It was the first time in the 138-year history of the competition that two professional clubs with British-born black managers at the helm have met.But that was of little consolation to Alexander after Gobern's 25th-minute strike handed Dons boss Paul Ince victory over his former club."I'm sure the fact two black managers have met in the FA Cup is important to a lot of people but I'm a football manager first and foremost - the fact I'm black is incidental," said Alexander. "We need more black people in the boardroom and until that changes nothing changes."It was the worst possible draw we could have had but we acquitted ourselves very well and we could have got a result with a bit more luck. Our keeper was magnificent and as a unit we played very well. If we had got the ball forward quicker in the second half we might have caused them more problems as I felt we over-passed it at times. But we are getting better with every game.""We all wanted a good run in the cup but getting up the league table is our main priority."
