Lions defender pens new contract
The 26-year-old arrived at The Den in the summer on a short-term deal after being released by Swindon.And he has been a consistent performer at the heart of a Lions back four which has been without regular defenders Zak Whitbread, Paul Robinson and Tony Craig for large chunks of the campaign."I've enjoyed my time here already tremendously," said Smith."Now I am looking forward to carrying on and hopefully playing a part in helping us win promotion this season."
