Davies delighted at squad strength

The Reds earned a deserved point at Cardiff and preserved their unbeaten away record when Lewis McGugan came off the bench to score a superb equaliser deep into stoppage time in the Welsh capital.Davies insists the whole squad has a part to play in helping maintain the club's current seven-match run without a league defeat."It is not always the starting 11 that is important," said the Scot. "Sometimes it is the substitutes, the players who you bring on, who can have an influence."These young players have to understand it is about a squad game, especially right now when we find ourselves without some key players through injury. The substitutes did very well when they came on."
