Ferguson eyes consistency

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Sir Alex Ferguson believes Manchester United can build on their solid, if not spectacular, start to the season and acquire the consistency required to win the title. The champions are going for a record fourth straight Premier League crown and currently lie second in the table two points behind leaders Chelsea. The top two go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as United look to significantly improve their recent record against a fellow 'big four' side following on from their dismal 2-0 defeat to out-of-form Liverpool at Anfield last week. However Ferguson acknowledges there will be unexpected defeats along the way in what he describes as a 'difficult' league to win."It is a tough league. We are experienced enough at this club to know how difficult it is to win the league," he said."It is not going to be any different this year. The great thing about us is that we know it is a difficult league."Mistakes are going to happen - you lose games you do not expect to lose. You go for consistency - and if we are in there in January we have a great chance."
