Obertan targets improvements

Gabriel Obertan is looking forward to an extended run in Manchester United's side after making his league debut in Saturday's win over Blackburn. The former Bordeaux winger Obertan should have marked the game by finding the target but squandered two gilt-edged chances.Obertan, now fully recovered from a nagging back injury, was one on one with Paul Robinson but saw his weak shot blocked by the goalkeeper. Then the 20-year-old found himself clear yards from goal following a square ball from Antonio Valencia, only to find the wrong side of the post.He said: "I was a bit disappointed but I have been injured for four months. I think it was a good debut, I ran hard and tried to do my best."I was a bit nervous but I really enjoyed the game, everyone was behind me and encouraging me, so that was good. I need a bit of rhythm, a few games to be fully fit. I think I will be better after a few matches."
