Redknapp rues sloppy goals

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Harry Redknapp insists there is no gap between Tottenham and Arsenal, despite his side going down 3-0 at the Emirates. The Gunners comfortably beat Spurs thanks to two goals from Robin van Persie and a solo effort from Cesc Fabregas, as Arsenal went three points clear of the derby rivals in the table.Redknapp's side had contained their North London foes up until a few minutes before the break, when a quick-fire double from Arsenal turned the game on its head.First, Bacary Sagna was gifted crossing space on the right touchline and his ball was turned home by Dutch forward Van Persie. Then just 11 seconds after the restart, Fabregas took the ball off Wilson Palacios and stormed past Ledley King to coolly slot past Heurelho Gomes.Redknapp said the two goals just before the break were difficult to come back from, although he rebuffed claims that Arsenal are a superior force to Spurs."The two sloppy goals we gave away turned the game upside down," he said.Edgy "I thought they (Arsenal) were edgy, giving the ball away, the crowd was moaning at every mistake. I thought we would come in at half-time in great shape."For 42 minutes I didn't see anything where I was sitting thinking, 'we are out of our depth here'."Van Persie sealed the win on the hour mark, with Sagna the provider again, as the Spurs defence stood still and allowed the full-back to cross for the striker who could not miss.Redknapp rued the mistakes made by his team, however, just conceded that it was a bad day at the office.Asked if the defeat indicated a gap between the two teams, he said: "There is no gap between the clubs in my opinion."We made two mistakes. They let in four goals at Manchester City (last month), does that make them a bad team? That's how it goes."
