Bent reiterates England dream

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Striker Darren Bent insists he will continue doing his job at Sunderland and hopes it eventually earns an England call-up. The former Ipswich man has been in fine form at the Stadium of Light since his summer move from Tottenham, netting eight Premier League goals to date.Second top scorer in the league, Bent has been overlooked by England boss Fabio Capello in his recent squads, but the 25-year-old still holds hopes of making the squad for next summer's World Cup."I can't count my chickens," Bent told The Sun. "Every player dreams of playing in a World Cup and I'm no different. But I know it's going to be very difficult to get into the squad. "I'll never give up trying and hopefully I can do enough to get selected. "But, even if I finish the season as the highest scorer in the country, I wouldn't automatically expect to be in the squad." Bent admits that his style of play may not be to the liking of the Italian, which could prove a stumbling block for his inclusion next summer. He said: "Mr Capello has a way of playing and a structure to his team. And if you don't fit, you won't get in."All I can do is keep playing well and scoring goals for Sunderland."
