Lampard hails Ancelotti approach

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Frank Lampard believes Carlo Ancelotti's man-management skills are behind his successful start at Chelsea. The Italian has settled quickly at Stamford Bridge, leading the Blues to the top of the Premier League table and sealing a 100 per cent record in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. There was huge pressure on him to make a bright start this term, with former coach Luiz Felipe Scolari having paid the price for hitting the buffers early on in the 2008/09 campaign.Guus Hiddink was brought in to steady the Chelsea ship on that occasion, and did a fine job as he guided them to a top-four finish and FA Cup glory.Replacing the popular Dutchman was always going to be tough, but midfield lynchpin Lampard feels Ancelotti has all the necessary credentials to follow in his footsteps."He's similar to Hiddink," the England international said in the Evening Standard."Guus was a fantastic man-manager and Ancelotti seems very good with people."He doesn't get involved too much with what's going on outside of the football but as soon as you come into training, he has a chat with you, asks how you're feeling and how you're training,"He's got that personal touch which is important to feel as a player."
